- To bring people suffering from chronic pain from all regions of Quebec together in a single and influential association.
- To heighten the public awareness of chronic pain and educate people regarding the harmful consequences that can affect those living with chronic pain, their loved ones and society at large.
- To bring recognition to the fact that chronic pain is a disease in itself. This must be recognized by both public and health care professional.
- To Target pain as a priority in our health care system and substantially increase the financing dedicated to it.
- To create various information tools to enhance communication with our membership.
- To sensitize political decision makers at the provincial and federal levels, to improve services for people suffering from chronic pain.

Long Term
|

- To increase the content dedicated to evaluation, management and treatment of pain in educational institutions so that these notions are systematically taught to health care professionals (ex.: doctors, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, etc.).
- To improve health care in primary care including chronic pain with physicians working in general practice.
- To substantially increase the number of centers and specialized clinics in the evaluation and multidisciplinary treatment of chronic pain.
- To substantially increase the financing granted for research in the field of pain in order to identify new strategies to not only better treat chronic pain, but also to prevent it.
- To organize subscription campaigns to sustain the association’s activities, and bring financial support to chronic pain research.
